my knees and ankles hurt, but i suppose that's what i get for wearing the sandals that i KNOW hurt my legs after long periods of standing or walking to the amusement park...

anyhow, it's been a heat wave allll week, and no rain at all...i'd taken off friday a few weeks ago with the intention of us going to kennywood....so of course we wake up yesterday and it's severely overcast and (oh the joys of having weather boyfriend and not just having to trust the weather channel) supposed to rain off and on all day...not quite good amusement park weather, so we killed some time deciding to go or not....and then an hour later he decides the system is weakening or whatever and even if it does rain it won't be too bad or too long, so we went, off to a later start than we meant to, but oh well....

the only other time i've been is for fright nights last october, so it was my first daylight kennywood trip!...and i got to ride the OUTDOOR escalator from the parking lot...that just seems like a bad idea outdoors to me, but whatever, i don't pay for it...

the longest we waited for anything was like 40 minutes, which is amazing to me because i'm a sixflags child and waiting 45 minutes for some stupid ride wouldn't surprise me....so that was nice, and we rode everything we wanted to....and i had potato patch fries, which i'm not at all impressed by....and i encountered the oldest people i've ever seen riding rides (a woman at least in her 60's on a roller coaster that took her longer to maneuver in and out of the seat than the entire ride lasted almost and a woman who was probably about 75 at least on the pirate ship in the very last row)...amused the heck out of me, how awesome to be that old and not even think twice about riding stuff:-)....

so it was definitely fun, but really it was just nice to spend a whole day with jason not being at home with tv and computers and stuff as distractions....i'm sure all of you that live with someone know what i mean when i say i realize we're technically together for hours everyday, but it's just not really legitimate together time....

i just checked the mail and it's either not here yet, which is odd, or NOONEin the building got any mail today, which is even more odd....i'd really like to hear from iowa today, that would just complete my acceptance week:-)..moreover i'd like him to hear from schools, that's what's more important....

i think tommorrow i'm going to scour about and ebay everything i can find that i don't want....yah....

and also i guess i'll finally send out official notice to everyone with my aol address that i've changed it....and figure out just what i'm going to do about the reason i really didn't want to change it...

lex's boyfriend's band is opening for Greenwheel tonight in Philly and i'm annoyed i can't go...

i need to go shower and brave the horror that is saturday afternoon walmart:-0

Do a google search for "e-mail forwarding" and you'll find plenty of services to make sure you get all e-mails from your old account to your new one. For awhile after I went to college, I used http://www.returnpath.net/forwarding/, and every now and then I'd recieve an e-mail from someone who had used my old e-mail address. That might be a way to make the change a little bit more bearable.

kennywood is soo much fun especially when you are with someone you care about. its one of those parks that you can spend some definate quality time w/ them and not have to worry about the whole "if i dont stand in line i wont get to ride this ride" kind of thing and you can just wander around. i love that about the park.

on that note- josh hates it. :(

i haven't a clue where they are moving you. they put jackie in donna coles old seat in max's row, daralyn in heather bradways old seat. haven't moved denise yet though. heathers termination was one of those "you are fired"/"no i quit" type things. they brought her in for a coaching on her attitudeon the phone and she stormed out. eh. no loss. i'm glad i dont have to worry about checking all of her accoutns now. niki willison is no longer employeed w/ us either.
